Neighbors Investing in Hawaiʻi Island's Future

KCCF is not a traditional foundation. We are neighbors, business owners, and community members who believe local residents should not have to leave Hawaiʻi to find opportunity. Opportunity should exist here — for them.

A Question Worth Asking

In 2020, one simple question set everything in motion — how could Hawaiʻi Island's young people build their futures here, instead of leaving to find them elsewhere?

Clark Winslow
Founder, Director

KCCF began in 2021 with a simple goal: create more opportunities for Hawaiʻi Island residents—especially young people—to build meaningful careers and successful futures here at home. With an initial $200,000 commitment from the Winslow Family Foundation, we began supporting organizations that prepare young adults for rewarding careers. Today, KCCF has raised more than $4 million and goes beyond traditional grantmaking by combining funding with mentorship, strategic guidance, and collaboration to strengthen workforce pathways and expand economic opportunity across Hawaiʻi Island.
